Jill Dyché is partner and co-founder of Baseline Consulting. She is responsible for key client work and industry analysis in the areas of data governance, business intelligence, and master data management, and advises executives and boards on the strategic importance of investing in enterprise information.

Jill's first book, e-Data (Addison Wesley, 2000) has been published in eight languages. She is a contributor to Impossible Data Warehouse Situations: Solutions from the Experts (Addison Wesley, 2002), and The CRM Handbook (Addison Wesley, 2002). Jill's work has been featured in major publications such as Computerworld, the Wall Street Journal, and Newsweek.com. She is a regular columnist for Information Management magazine, an Ask the Expert contributor for SearchDataManagement.com, and a blogger on B-Eye-Network. Jill's latest book is Customer Data Integration: Reaching a Single Version of the Truth (John Wiley and Sons, 2006) co-authored with Baseline Partner Evan Levy, and she writes the Inside the Biz blog on Baseline's website.

Mary Lou Ackerman is Vice President of Business Capabilities at Saint Elizabeth Health Care. In her current role, she is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective business practices. Over the past 18 months, Ms. Ackerman has led the development of Saint Elizabeth Health Cares business intelligence strategy. Joining Saint Elizabeth Health Care in 1987 as a visiting nurse, she has augmented her clinical background with a graduate business degree and many years experience with health informatics. Ms. Ackerman has a passion for community health care, combined with a desire to advance home health care, using business intelligence to support improved health outcomes and care delivery processes for both clients in their homes as well as the mobile workforce that cares for them.

Barbaras extensive work with managed care organizations together with her background in public health give her special insight into health care management. Barbara has worked in the UK for three years, with the majority of engagements with Primary Care Trusts. She has led turnaround work and implemented programs of utilization management with PCTs. She has also worked internationally in Portugal and Germany. Barbara has worked in the health care industry for more than 20 years, mostly for managed care organizations and insurance companies. She has provided consulting services to purchasers, providers and payers. She has a BA from St. Olaf College and received a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Minnesota.

Bob Lokken, the founder and CEO of WhiteCloud Analytics, was previously founder and CEO of ProClarity Corp., winner of over 40 industry awards for analytic and performance management technologies. Lokken authored the key patents behind the companys market-leading technology. In May 2006, ProClarity was acquired by Microsoft. Afterwards Lokken led the Business Intelligence (BI) Product Management Group (PMG) at Microsoft, driving the development of product and commercial strategy. Lokken is a frequent keynote speaker at industry conferences on the use of analytics to drive business results. Lokken also has an extensive background in healthcare. He has consulted with numerous healthcare organizations, including the VHA, HCA, St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, and Bluefield Regional Medical Center.

Laura helps companies understand the value of their data. As the Healthcare Practice Leader for Lancet Software, Madsen brings more than 10 years experience in business intelligence (BI). She served as Director of Business Intelligence at a pharmacy benefit management company where she led an enterprise-wide business intelligence project. She is also a veteran of United Health Group, where she managed a business intelligence tool suite. Through this work, she has started or supported more than a dozen companies with BI initiatives.

Daniel McLaughlin, M.H.A, is the Director of the Center for health and Medical Affairs. Prior to this position he was program director for the Center for Business Excellence and the Executive Director of the National Institute of Health Policy at the University of St. Thomas. Prior to his work at St. Thomas, he held multiple leadership positions within the Hennepin County health care system. From 1984 to 1992 Mr. McLaughlin was the administrator and CEO of Hennepin County Medical Center. From 1992 through 1999 he was the director of Health Policy for Hennepin County.

Mr. McLaughlin has served as chair of the Metropolitan Health Care Council of Minnesota and most recently as chair of the National Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems. He served on President Clinton's Task force on Health Care Reform in 1993. He holds degrees in electrical engineering and health care administration from the University of Minnesota.
